5 essentials in pregnancy fashion today:

MAXI dress: preferably grey

JEGGINGS: stay away from maternity pants, not cute and not functional once you are no longer pregnant
BUTTON up shirt: these tend to be so flattering on pregnant women

FITTED T' shirt: for everyday and still looks like you're trying

JEAN jacket: can still be worn when not pregnant, and adds so much to any outfit, especially when your cute baby belly sticks out :)

****************************************************************************

These are just five articles of clothing that can ultimately MAKE your outfit. As I search for these essentials, I am in no way going to be looking at Gap or Pea in the Pod (for these are too expensive). Instead I will be shopping at Good Will, Random Consignment stores, and sale racks. OH BABY!

Baby # 2 and feeling GOOD

So I am pregnant again! I have so many goals in mind for this pregnancy; which include health obviously, but to add to that...a cute wardrobe that is cheap. I have been lately shopping at Good wills, and other consignment stores to help me find cute pregnancy clothes that wont empty my husbands wallet. its has been challenging.

I do suggest getting a sitter while looking for clothes, because that way you can look in every isle, and make sure you do not miss anything. It does take some work, but it saves you so much money.

As you get pregnant, your complexion starts to change greatly. another one of my goals is to wash up 2x a day and moisturize as much as possible! I look like such a dork. ha (14 weeks pregnant no belly just yet!)

35 WEEKS! and so ready to be done!

Ive hit that wall, you know, the "I'm sick of this, I'm tired, I'm uncomfortable, I cant sleep!"

sure I look happy in my photo, but it took so much work. Nights are long and my lower back is killing me. I always thought pregnant woman were such complainers. Now I know how difficult it is. my back pain LITERALLY keeps me awake at night..even when my eyes feel like bricks.

Anywho, Ive gained about 40 lbs already! which is 10 over the expected amount. This first pregnancy has taught me alot on what not to do when youre pregnant!

1. dont excuse yourself from exercise
2. go to ALL prenatal appointments just incase you might find out that youre anemic and this adds to your weight gain, because of lack of energy!
3. do invest in healthier foods... sacrifice something else (if finances keeps you from eating great) to have a nutritious diet
4. dont tell your husband anything ridiculous like, "i cant get backrubs because it might trigger labor." you neeeeed back rubs.
5. its ok to wake up your husband 3x in one night if youre going stir crazy because you cant sleep. Husbands are great comforters.

29 weeks

my hair, skin, and nails are amazing at this point. I was getting slightly discouraged in the beginning of my pregnancy because I expected all these wonderful things to happen quickly. but not til' recently i started noticing my baby soft skin, thick healthy hair and fast growing nails.

I discovered that my mom has no stretch marks! which is great news..but I have gotten some. they are still quite faint and I'm hoping they will disappear, ha! Anti-stretch mark cream is great, but really if it runs in the family I dont think you can get around it! jusssst saying.

27 weeks and big

Ive put on so much weight, my midwife actually told me to slow down and watch my fat intake! I laughed. I have no idea why I am gaining so much, but at the same time I feel good, and I am doing what I should be. My baby shower is coming up! I will have plenty of photos up soon!

24 weeks ITS A GIRL!

We are having a girl, oh my we have changed the name about 3 million times. Girl names are so much harder than boy names! We went from Raisa (Ra-e-sa), to Raya, to liana, and we have finally settled on Adalie. Adalie Lila Jonsgaard.

We also got a crib and I forced Isaac my husband to set it up, he's so cute afterward he broke it to me and told me he was going to surprise me and set everything up while I was gone visiting family in Washington. I spoil everything.

22 weeks and 5 days

My clothes are tight, and although I put away my favorite clothing items that I might not stretch them, I'm finding myself wearing them anyway because I hardly have anything to wear! Currently my husband is going through a job change, so money is tight. But his new job will soon provide comfy, flowy clothes that don't stick to my skin.

Target has a great clearance wrack, which I just buy a Large size in everything.
-Tank Tops: $4.00
-Cardigans $8.00
-Sports bras (try ross or t.j. max) $10.00

That's whats been getting me through this growing stage (sports bras are needed for the crazy breast growth, i just cant handle a normal bra, I grow too fast and would spend too much buying different sizes.)
